Mark Is All About International Business

Hit producer and song-creating genius, Mark Ronson is back with yet another dope collaboration with "The Business Intl," a name created to name all of the amazing people that contributed. Ronson has mastered the art of collaboration as he is well known for collaborating with pop/jazz sensation Amy Winehouse and has done it again with this new masterpiece he calls "Record Collection." This record exudes all of Mark's musical characteristics, i.e. old-school hip-hop, 50s to 60s energy, trancy pop and atmospheric featured vocalists. He comes up with dramatic drum rifts and incorporates long lost loves of our lives such as Q-Tip on the first track and single "Bang Bang Bang," and D'Angelo (in a way we've never heard him) on "Glass Mountain Trust." The album incorporates rap and pop in a combination that is overwhelmingly smart and cool. Tracks like "Somebody to Love Me," featuring Rose Elinor Dougall, Andrew Wyatt and Boy George, spring about a such a jazz/funk impression with walking electric bass, sick drum rhythm and synth. (My favorite track). The whole album is full of other surprising artists, who let go of their stereotypical sounds to create a new style. Ronson makes us feel like we're in an episode of "The Brady Bunch" or a house party that we staggered back from this morning. His tracks make us dance, smile, laugh, jump up and down or just chill. Get your hands on it Mark Ronson and The Business Intl.'s "Record Collection."
